SUGABABES SET FOR HUGE YORK CITY CENTRE SHOW THIS SUMMER

BRITISH POP ICONS TO HEADLINE LIVE AT YORK MUSEUM GARDENS SERIES

This summer's series of concerts at York Museum Gardens have unveiled their final headliner as pop icons Sugababes confirm they will headline the historic venue on Sunday 21st July. Joining previously announced headliners  Jack Savoretti (18th July) and local legends Shed Seven (19th & 20th July) for what will be the city's biggest weekend of live music.

Sugababes became one of the most successful British girlbands of the 21st century with six Number One singles, millions of global sales and multiple multi-platinum albums. Along the way they told one of the most spectacular stories of the modern pop era, but it all started with one song, three voices and a mysterious white label 7”.

Fast forward two decades, the original line up of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy arrived back in full force becoming the talk of the summer festivals including having to shut down their field at Glastonbury due to demand.

Sugababes will be joined by a full supporting line-up of  very special guests with the full line-up to be revealed soon.

Live At York Museum Gardens is presented by Yorkshire promoters Futuresound. Having worked on incredible concerts and festivals around Yorkshire for decades, Futuresound are the team behind events including Live At Leeds, Slam Dunk Festival and Ed Sheeran’s unforgettable performances at Roundhay Park with Live at York Museum Gardens joining other event series in historic locations this summer including Kirkstall Abbey and Ludlow Castle.

Museum Gardens are picturesque botanic gardens in the heart of York, right beside the river Ouse. They were created in the 1830s by the Yorkshire Philosophical Society along with the Yorkshire Museum, which still sits within them. Today, the gardens are popular with both residents and visitors as a spot to explore.

Tickets for Sugababes live at York Museum Gardens will be available first via a postcode pre-sale event in order to allow local residents to secure their spot before general sale, with postcode pre-sale available to residents of YO1, YO24, YO30, YO31 & YO32
