OPENING IT’S DOOR IN 1999, THE WARDROBE IS A MULTI-FUNCTIONING BAR, KITCHEN, VENUE & EVENTS SPACE IN THE HEART OF LEEDS’ ART QUARTER.
Since then we have proudly remained an independently-owned business serving high quality food, great drinks and hosting a variety of live music, comedy & club nights in our basement venue. Currently in a 20th anniversary year the venue is enjoying a rapid period of growth for the restaurant, live events and as part of the Futuresound Group; one of the largest and fastest growing music companies in the North of England.
The Wardrobe is looking for a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team based in the Cultural Quarter of Leeds.
Reporting to the Head Chef and overseeing food preparation and cooking, your creativity will take the lead in the development of new and enticing dishes for the menu, focusing on producing quality food that uses the best quality fresh ingredients from the region.
We are looking for a motivated self-starter that takes pride in the quality of their work, can inspire a team, looks to innovate and has the experience to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
