About Slam Dunk and Futuresound Group

Slam Dunk is part of Futuresound Group; one of the UK’s longest running independent music companies that operates venues, music festivals, live music, record labels, artist management, music publishing and the UK’s largest vinyl pressing plant.

Founded in 2001, the Slam Dunk brand originated as a club night held at The Cockpit in Leeds, championing the pop-punk, emo, punk rock, ska punk, hardcore, and metalcore music scenes. Since its inception, Slam Dunk has grown to promote over 200 gigs annually across the UK, has become the country’s biggest independent rock festival—hosted across two greenfield sites in Leeds and Hatfield—and most recently expanded into festivals across European markets.
